Tempest Technologies is a website design company founded by Shawn and Lisa Peterson in Helena, Montana in 1999. As a Montana company full of people who love the state, we here at Tempest are always looking for new ways to promote Big Sky Country, whether by sponsoring events, partnering with Montana organizations, or hosting Montana travel websites. A few years ago, Tempest Technologies launched virtualmontana.com with the intention of creating a comprehensive online travel guide for the state we love. Over the years, various paying projects took priority, and we haven’t spent much time updating Virtual Montana.
